Barrett is the owner of WellMax Medical Center of North Miami, a healthcare provider for the elderly. Currently, Barrett is attending the University of Miami’s MBA Program. Barrett is a former professional linebacker with the National Football League. He played college football for West Virginia and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2000 NFL Draft and also played with the New York Giants. Barrett is dedicated to helping underprivileged children in the community and has successfully hosted toy drives for the past 3 years. He also serves on the board of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools District Athletic Advisory Committee.
