Iris Acosta

IAZ Hospitality Advisors

Iris joined the Board of Directors in 2022. After a successful career as a senior hotel industry executive spanning 30 years, Iris founded IAZ Hospitality Advisors. She has worked with brand name hotels, independent hotel companies and luxury resorts where she skillfully lead successful teams who exceeded expectations. Iris is a skilled connector with a genuine desire to create strategic partnerships and extraordinary experiences for clients while inspiring innovation and achieving exceptional outcomes.

A native of Puerto Rico, Iris has made her second home in Miami and is a dedicated mother blessed to meet her own child through adoption. She has been a dedicated volunteer with Florida Foster Care Review’s Citizen Review Panel Program since 2014 and is motivated by the impact volunteers have on the life trajectory of the children and youth served. In addition, Iris has been an integral member of FFCR’s annual Claws for Kids fundraising event host committee since 2015.
