Permanency Roundtable Program Manager

Melissa Taylor is FFCR’s Permanency Roundtable Program Manager as of 2023, transitioning from her role as the PRT Intake & Resource Specialist. She initially joined FFCR as a Permanency Roundtable Specialist in 2018. Previously, Melissa served young adults in foster care for three years as Transitioning Youth Specialist with Our Kids of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Inc. Before that, she began her journey within child welfare, as a visitation specialist at Children’s Home Society back in 2013, immediately after, she became a dependency case manager at Family Resource Center and has since grown within the dependency system.Melissa is actively involved in initiatives that give back to the community and has a true passion for helping youth achieve permanency . Melissa graduated from the University of Florida where she studied Family, Youth and Community Sciences, with a special focus in Human Services.
