Richard Moran

Review Specialist

Richard Moran joined FFCR as a Review Specialist in March 2023. Richard, a proud native of Miami, FL, possesses a vibrant personality and a warm hospitality that he extends to everyone he serves. He takes great pride in delivering the highest quality work to his community, drawing from nearly nine years of professional experience. With six years dedicated to legal administrative assistant roles and three years in child welfare, Richard has always harbored a deep passion for serving the community.

Richard discovered his true calling, or at least one of them, when he joined the Guardian ad Litem program as a Child Advocate Manager (CAM) in March of 2020. This experience opened his eyes to the immense value of supporting children and families within the dependency system. Over the past year and a half, Richard has honed his expertise in child welfare as an Early Childhood Specialist on Citrus' Early Childhood Court team.

Richard holds a BA degree in political science from FIU and is currently enrolled in the MPA program at the University of Miami. As a GAL, he actively participated in numerous CRP review hearings and is eagerly looking forward to assuming the role of a review specialist. In this capacity, he will guide and support panels through the review process, ensuring the safety of our children, facilitating connections to vital services and resources for families, and fostering efforts to achieve permanency for each child.
