FFCR Joins Non-Profit Advocates at PhilanthropyMiami

Thanks to a generous scholarship provided by The Children’s Trust, FFCR’s Communications and Development Manager, Vanessa Sanchez attended the PhilanthropyMiami Conference on March 1st.

A great opportunity to share ideas with other non-profit professionals from organizations across South Florida and hosted at Jungle Island, the 2018 PhilanthropyMiami Conference focused on being FEARLESS. As conference chairs, Lauren Harper, Founding Director at Social Venture Partners, Miami and Glenn Kaufhold, Founder and Principal at GKollaborative explained, being FEARLESS is key to thriving in a world of changing expectations. Whether it means making big bets and making history, reaching beyond our individual bubbles or taking chances and making failure matter, being FEARLESS is an attitude and way to engage, evolve and thrive in today´s changing world. Seminars and lectures on Essential Leadership, Sustainable Fundraising, Innovation and Strategic Engagement were held throughout the day.

A big thank you to community partner, The Children´s Trust!
